x ginginsii ‘Downderry Velvet’ NEW
A remarkable, long-flowering bushy lavender. Very long blue-purple flowers from June to September and beyond, if protected. Broad, toothed and velvety foliage. Known only in cultivation as it’s a hybrid of dentata and lanata which doesn’t occur in the wild. This form was found as a seedling on our nursery 10 years ago. Currently unavailable. Best planted late April-late June.
